As an enthusiastic and intentional gift giver, my eyes are always peeled for exceptional gift ideas. Along with my zest for gift-giving, Galentine’s Day is always at the forefront of my mind. One year I initially made a goal to cross-stitch some of my best friends, all matching framed Celtic hearts. I then went on to gift one framed cross stitch each month that year. Ultimately my goal is to infiltrate the homes of all my best friends and start my own shrine. And therefore, they can never not think about me. As a result, that very intense enthusiasm fuels this ultimate Galentine’s Day gift guide.
“What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year. Every February 13, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home and we just come and kick it breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus, frittatas!”Leslie Knope (Parks and Rec)
Gifts for the wild, majestic unicorns in your life
Indeed I will always opt for supporting smaller businesses, and for Galentine’s Day, that is no exception. But, in addition to small businesses, throw in female-owned businesses for this occasion, and we’re really talking! Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know some truly exceptional women who own businesses. These relationships led me to curate three limited edition Galentine’s day gift boxes within the last few years. Unfortunately, however, there is no gift box this year. So instead, I’ve rounded up gift prospects that have caught my eye, to share with you.
However, you can still luckily purchase your Galentine’s themed postcards from my shop. Buy them here.
Above all, nostalgia is one of my favorite gifts. If there is an ounce of nostalgia involved, I’m all over it! Is there anything more nostalgic than bracelets representing friendship? I don’t think so.
Little Words Project bracelets are the grown-up version of the bracelets we made as kids.
In 2021 I participated in a Galentine’s Giveaway hosted by Stephanie of Sassy and Co. Designs. Collaboration is a powerful thing and very much in the spirit of Galentine’s Day!
Confidently add the finishing touch to your Galentine’s Day brunch with Sassy and Co. Designs cups. They are an ideal party favor. Additionally, if you’re gifting long distance, these cups make an excellent receptacle to fill with handpicked goodies, add a card, box it up, and ship it to your besties.
Looking for something special to fill your cup with? Check out Can Vino, wine from female winemaker Susy Vasquez.
Start a gang
Firstly, I love co-ordinating. Next, including my little humans and the littles of my besties in the merriments takes things to the next level. I recall the influence of a few key adult women in my life growing up and now I am blessed to have friends who think of my kids and include them in shenanigans. I love it. Jean and June have adult and littles options for their Girl Gang t-shirts. Finally, make these shirts your girl gang uniform.
We stick together
Again, speaking of nostalgia, pick a sheet of stickers from the PipSticks shop and add it to your Galentine’s Day card or package. Incidentally, these bring up particular memories of a gift shop I once visited in Gloucestershire with my cousins. I don’t doubt many a bestie won’t have memories of rolls of stickers displayed on dowel rods across walls.

Gift a class
Next, take your best friend’s interests to heart, and, in short, find a class you can gift them. Moreover, maybe even do it together. My own personal recommendation is Type Affiliated’s Intro to Handlettering class. Above all, a creative outlet and an opportunity to learn a new skill makes for a thoughtful, fun gift.
Surprise your best friend with Jeni’s ice cream shipment, then cheekily invite yourself over for girl’s night. Alternatively, pick it up from your local store, deliver it yourself, and stay to help them eat it. That, above all, sounds very much in the spirit of Galentine’s Day.
Print your memories
Last but not least, relive your adventures and consequently free those precious memories from your camera roll by printing them out to share with your memory-making cohorts. With this in mind, I use Persnickety Box to print 30 4×4 photographs straight from my phone each month. Swipe your photos accordingly into a box and gift them to your Galentine – add a photo album to your order, and you’re sorted!
There you have it! Some ideas for fun Galentine’s Day Gifts for your BFF. Above all the best gifts come from the heart. They don’t have to cost a fortune or be excessive. You already know how to be an amazing friend.
Happy Galentine’s Day, you poetic, noble land mermaid.
